Justin Ledden

Justin Ledden is a civil litigation attorney who has worked on large matters for corporate clients at AmLaw Top 100 law firms and, monetarily speaking, matters thousands of times smaller for individual clients. He has extensive commercial litigation experience, having handled matters in fields including intellectual property, labor and employment, and a wide array of business disputes and transactional matters. Justin is a graduate of the London School of Economics and Boston University School of Law. He is a member of the California Bar and admitted to practice before the United States Federal District Court for the Central District of California. Before opening his own practice in 2009, he worked for large law firms in downtown Los Angeles and volunteered his time at the Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles.

Justin took a somewhat unconventional path to becoming an attorney. Before settling in Los Angeles, he lived, worked, traveled, volunteered and studied around the world for about eight years. In total his travel experience now entails well over 100 countries with significant time on each continent save Antarctica.

Among these experiences: He has worked as a teacher and a nightlife writer in Osaka, Japan; studied kick-boxing in Chiang Mai, Thailand; backpacked through Southeast Asia and the Indian sub-continent while publishing travel articles; obtained a Master's degree in International Relations from the London School of Economics; ventured through much of South America, the Middle East, Oceania, and Central Asia; worked for both a legal aid organization in Cambodia and a UN-backed war crimes tribunal in Sierra Leone; studied for a semester at Hong Kong University School of Law; and hitchhiked through much of Africa. These experiences have taught him lessons about humility, patience, and humor, helping him understand not merely the nature of his clients' legal issues, but also the unique perspective held by the people behind them.
